Description
The Cabmen's Shelter, built around 1900, was erected by the Cabmen's Shelter Fund. It is a timber-framed, rectangular structure with tongue and groove construction and a tiled gable end roof. The shelter features sliding casements on the sides and the west gable end, with a door located on the east gable end. The roof has a crested ridge with finials and a louvred central lantern, all of which remain intact. This shelter is a rare and largely unaltered example of its kind.
