Description
South Lodge at the drive entrance to number 150 is a gate lodge built around 1827 by John Nash. It is constructed of stucco and features a slate roof. This lodge was designed as one of a pair, with a gate pier flanking the drive entrance to Hanover Lodge. The building is single-storey with one bay facing Park Road and a two-bay return to the drive, which includes a doorway on the right. The square-headed doorway has a panelled door and a fanlight above it. To the left, there is a rectangular bay window with glazing bar casements, while there is a blind window on the Park Road side. The lodge features a coved cornice and a pediment gable end facing Park Road, along with a cornice and blocking course on the return side.
