Description

This is a row of six houses located at 60-65 Ennismore Gardens, built in the mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of stucco, with the ground floor channelled. They are four storeys high, with a basement level. Each house is three windows wide, and the houses are grouped as triplets. The first-floor windows are united by a cornice with a central pediment above each house. The entrances are on the right-hand side, with the entrance to number 61 being in the return, and number 60 being entirely on its return. The first-floor windows are mainly casements, while the remaining windows are sash windows. Cast iron balconies are present on the first and second floors. A stucco cornice sits above the third floor, and the property has cast iron area railings. The group value of the houses lies in their contribution to the architectural character of Ennismore Gardens.
