Description

37-39 Bloomfield Terrace is a terrace of villas built around 1830, with some alterations. The buildings are made of brick with stucco dressings and feature slate hipped roofs that extend to the eaves. Nos 38 and 39 are designed as a single composition, each two storeys tall and three windows wide, while No 37 is two windows wide. There are pilasters between the bays, and the central three bays of Nos 38 and 39 are slightly set forward, topped with a pediment that appears to have been added by Oliver Mill. The central entrance features a panelled door, and the centre bay is recessed. The windows have square gauged heads and are fitted with sashes and glazing bars, with shutters on the ground floor. The property is enclosed by cast iron area railings.
