Description
This is a row of houses located on Bathurst Street, dating from the mid-19th century. The buildings are constructed of stucco, with the roof not visible. The row comprises numbers 10 to 12, along with number 14. Each house is four storeys high and originally two windows wide, although number 10 features an additional bay above a carriageway on its left side. Shops have been inserted on the ground floor of numbers 11 and 12 in the 20th century. The ground floor bay windows of numbers 10 and 14 have been altered. The first floor features individual, bombé balconies. The windows are square-headed, with architraves, except for those on the second and third floors of number 14. Cornices are present beneath the first-floor windows of numbers 10, 11, and 12, with added pediments on the cornices of numbers 11 and 12. Numbers 11 and 12 also feature cornices under the second-floor windows. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. A dentil cornice runs above the third floor. The buildings are listed for their group value with the neighbouring houses on Westbourne Street.
