No 1 Cleveland Way is an early 19th-century terraced house, part of a row that includes Nos 3 to 7. The building is constructed of brick, with a roof that is not visible. It stands three storeys tall and has a basement, featuring two windows on the front facade. There is a parapet and a stucco band located between the ground and first floor windows. All the windows are sash style with glazing bars. The first-floor windows are set within shallow recessed brick arches, while the ground floor includes a doorway and a small shop front topped with a dentil cornice.
