Description
The revetment wall is located on the west and north side of the moat at the Tower of London. It was constructed between 1670 and 1673 by Sir Bernard de Gomme and features repairs from the 19th century. The wall is built in Flemish bond brick and has a stone coping. It extends from the outwork attached to the Middle Tower to the Tower Hill Postern.
