11 And 13, Lillieshall Road Sw4

Nos 11 and 13 on Lillieshall Road are a pair of semi-detached cottages built around 1830. They are constructed from stock brick and feature a slate roof with a brick ridge stack. The cottages have a double-depth plan and rise to two storeys, displaying a two-window range. The right side has flat brick arches over 12-pane sash windows, while the left side features mid-20th century windows. Each side elevation has a semi-circular arched doorway. At the rear, there are one-storey service rooms with brick stacks.

Inside No 11, there are panelled doors set in reeded architraves and simple classical fireplaces with cast-iron grates on the first floor. The rear service room has a stone flag floor and, beneath the party wall to No 13, there is a square brick-built cistern, which is a rare and unusual survival. The brick stack likely served a washing copper that has since been removed.
