Description
The Cottage is a house dating to circa 1715, with later alterations. It is two storeys high with dormers, and has five windows. The house is constructed of brown brick with red brick dressings and an old tile roof. A red brick, barrel-vaulted basement is present, likely a remnant of a former conduit. The ground floor features near-flush French windows, and the wooden doorcase has been altered. Inside, several rooms are panelled, and a staircase is present with turned balusters and panelling. A garden wall to the south-west connects to Shrewsbury House, Cheyne Walk.
