Description

This is a late 19th or early 20th century building, part of a terrace including numbers 7, 9, 10 and 11 on Cheyne Walk. It is constructed of red brick in a Queen Anne style, with four storeys, an attic, and a basement. The left side features a two-storey canted brick bay window. A brick cornice and parapet top the building, while a doorcase with Composite columns and an ornamental fanlight are on the right side of the ground floor. The columns have square block rustications. An entablature runs above the doorcase. On the first floor is a central round-headed brick niche with a shell head, containing a lead statue. The upper floors have five narrow sash windows. A cut brick cornice and a central pediment are followed by a parapet. The mansard roof is tiled with two tiers of dormers. Wrought iron gates are present.
