Description
Nos 108 and 110 on Old Brompton Road were designed by William Flockhart for the photographic studio Messrs Elliott & Fry, with the date inscribed as 1886. This building, constructed in the 16th-century Dutch style, is three storeys high and made of red brick, featuring two windows with stone mullions. It has stone dressings and quoins, and a hipped mansard roof that is partly tiled and partly slate. The structure includes two projecting bays with five-light windows on the ground and first floors, and three-light windows on the second floor, all set within shaped Dutch gables. The windows are adorned with ornamental leaded glazing, and there are iron balconies on the first floor. Additionally, there are two gatepiers topped with obelisks.
