Description

The River House is a house of 1876, designed by G F Bodley and T Garner. It is constructed of yellow brick with red brick dressings and a tiled roof. The Tite Street facade is seven windows wide and generally five storeys high, featuring moulded brick cornices at the second and third floor sills, and a moulded band below the first floor. The Chelsea Embankment elevation has three windows, incorporating an oriel window at the first floor.
