Description

A row of dwellinghouses dated to the mid-19th century, located on the west side of Onslow Square. The properties are constructed of gault brick and stucco, with the ground storeys channelled in stucco. The facades are arranged in pairs, each pair connected by two-bay linkage blocks. Each house has two windows, and the row comprises a total of 11 houses (numbered 44 to 54, even numbers). The houses have three storeys, an attic, and a basement, although the top storey has been altered. First-floor windows are topped with pediments, while second-floor windows have segmental heads. There are Doric porches at the entrances, and a cast iron balcony on the first floor. Original area railings are present.
