Description

These are a group of three terraced houses dating from the early 19th century, located in Islington. They are built of yellow brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with red brick detailing and a slate roof. Each house has three or four storeys over a basement, with two windows facing the street.

Number 1 has pilasters supporting a fascia and cornice. It features a carriage entrance to the left, a house entrance with decorative glazing above the door, and a flat-arched window with a gauged brick head on the right. The upper windows have flat arches with gauged brick heads, and the second floor has original 6/6 sash windows. A dormer is incorporated into the mansard roof, and there is a parapet above.

Number 2 has similar pilasters and a fascia and cornice, but includes a 20th-century service entrance, and a house entrance below. The upper windows have cambered arches, and the building has a parapet.

Number 3 has a flat-arched entrance with a decorative overlight on the right, and a round-arched window on the ground floor, both with heads of gauged red brick. The upper windows have flat arches with heads of gauged red brick. It also contains 6/6 sash windows with original design, with radiating glazing bars to the ground floor window, and a parapet.
