Description

The Gateway to Tudor Street, dated 1887, is located on the east side of King's Bench Walk in the Inner Temple area. This structure is made of Portland stone and features an arched carriage entry alongside a footway. Above the entry, there is a relief, and the structure is crowned with an urn that sits on the blocking to the cornice. The gateway includes a two-storey polygonal lodge, which is attached to the rear of No 7 King's Bench Walk and is topped by stone balls. Additionally, there are lamp brackets on both sides of the gateway.
