Description

The Firs is an early 19th century red brick house located in Little Thurlow. The building features brick rustications at the corners and stands two storeys high with a three-window range. It has double-hung sash windows with glazing bars set in plain reveals, topped with stuccoed lintels on stub brackets. A central wooden porch projects from the front of the house, which has a slate roof. The front is enclosed by 19th century cast iron railings. The Firs is part of a group that includes 115, 115A and 116 The Limes, Porch Cottage, Larkspur Cottage, Chapel Cottage with Fox Cottage, Burton Cottage, and 114A and 114B The Street.
