Description

The Shelter is a timber-framed and plastered house dating from the 17th to 18th centuries. It is one storey high with attics. The windows are casement types. The roofs are thatched, with two gabled dormers which are tiled. It forms a group with Fairstead (No. 50) and Pond Cottage.
