Description

Wheel Cottage is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered house that has been renovated in the 20th century. It is a single storey with attics and features casement windows from the 20th century. The roof is thatched and includes two dormers with sloping roofs. An unusual thatched hood supported by a half cart wheel covers the doorway. Wheel Cottage is part of a group that includes Malting Farmhouse, No 51 (The Cottage), and Nos 66 and 67.
