Description
The Swan Inn is a public house dating from the 17th century. It is timber framed with rendered fronts that are pebbledashed and colourwashed, topped with a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys.
On the road front, there are two doorways, one to the right of centre and one on the left, both with cambered heads. Flanking these doorways are two 4-light 19th-century casement windows, also with cambered heads, one to the right and one to the left of centre, along with a 2-light window with a cambered head at the far left. The first floor features two 3-light casement windows, one on the right and one on the left, plus another at the far left. The gable stacks have two flues each, and the gable ends are blank. At the rear, there is a single-storeyed service wing that projects to the right.
Inside, the ground floor has chamfered and encased ceiling beams.
