Description

Numbers 3 and 5 Chapel Street date to the early 19th century. They are two storeys and have a basement, constructed of red brick with a plinth. The roofs are slated, with a hipped form and eaves soffit. Number 5 has one window, a sash with glazing bars and a flat arch. The right-hand side features a six-panel door with fielded panels, Doric reeded pilasters, panelled reveals, and an entablature. The front of Number 3 faces east and has two windows; a sash with glazing bars and flush frames on the first floor, and casements with segmental heads on the ground floor. A four-panel door is set within a scroll console doorcase with a reeded architrave. Numbers 1 to 9 (odd) form a group with the Beaumont Chapel.
