Description

No 16 on Earsham Street is an early 17th-century building, reputed to have been constructed in 1620. It stands three stories tall with a stucco front featuring rusticated quoins, a cornice, and a moulded coping at the attic storey. The roof is tiled. The building has four original mullion transom casement windows, each with stucco architraves. To the right of center, there is an eight-panel door set in a wooden case with panelled reveals, pilasters, and an entablature. Some original interior doors are also present. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 40 (even).
