Description
Christmas House is a 16th to 17th century timber-framed and plastered building that was altered in the 18th century. It has two storeys and features a front that was likely originally jettied but was extended out in the 18th century. The façade includes a range of three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. There is a central doorway topped with a flat hood supported by shaped brackets. The roof is tiled and hipped at both the north and south ends. Inside, the building showcases exposed timber-framing, ceiling beams, and joists. The chimney stack at the rear displays 16th century brickwork in its lower section.
