Description

Sherbourne House is a 16th-century building, largely encased in modern red brick. At the rear, timber-framed and plastered wings remain, with some exposed timber framing. The building is two storeys high, with a cross wing extending to the east, featuring a two-storeyed bay on the front. The roof is tiled, and it retains a 16th-century chimney stack with four octagonal shafts rising from a square base (though the caps are modern). This building possesses group value from its contribution to the setting of other listed buildings.
