Description

The Bower Close is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 16th to 17th century, featuring a tiled roof. It has been restored and renovated, with the timber framing visible on the front. The building is two storeys high and has a four-window range of small modern casements with leaded lights. A central gabled porch and a central ridge chimney stack with four diagonal shafts are prominent features. Inside, there are four Tudor arched fireplaces. A modern wing has been added at the rear.
