Description

No. 23 High Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof with coped gable ends. The building stands two storeys tall and has two windows on the upper floor, which are three-light casements set beneath segmental arches. The ground floor windows are topped with flat rubbed brick arches. At the center of the façade is a round-headed doorway that has a blind fanlight above it and a flush panel door. There are brick chimney stacks positioned over the gable ends. This house is included in the listing for its group value.
