Description
The Lodge is a building from the 17th or 18th century located in Pulham Market at Colegate End. It is constructed of brick and rendered, topped with a steeply pitched black glazed pantile roof featuring gable ends. The building has two storeys and four windows. The early 19th century gothic windows have four-centred heads and intersecting glazing bars, with some casements featuring leaded panes. To the right of the centre, there is a two-storey porch with splayed corners, a glazed door, and a gothic window above. The building includes brick chimney stacks. On the rear (west side), there are two windows; the ground floor windows are gothic and similar to those at the front, while the first floor features rectangular casements. The entrance has a central moulded doorcase with a pediment. There is also a wing at the south end that is contemporary, rendered, and has a steep gable-ended pantile roof.
