Description

The Magpie is a 17th-century building with a plastered timber-frame and a pantile roof featuring gabled ends. It stands two storeys high and has three widely spaced casement windows, likely from the early 19th century, which include glazing bars. The building has two doors: one is panelled while the other is a plank door. There is an off-centre brick chimney stack and a small lean-to porch on the right side of the front, probably dating from the 19th century. Inside, the building features chamfered beams. It was formerly a public house.
