Description

Mardel Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-frame house, now rendered. It has a later black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. A brick chimney stack is located at one end of the house and another is positioned off-centre. The house is two storeys high with an attic, featuring a window in the gable end. There are three windows, with 19th-century three-light casement windows. A 19th-century gabled porch stands in front of the end chimney stack, and has a small fanlight with Gothic glazing bars.
