Description
Green Oak Farmhouse is a 17th-century house situated in Windfarthing Goose Green. It is constructed as a timber-frame building, now plastered. The house has steeply pitched roofs with gabled ends, covered in corrugated iron, with pantiles at the north end. The building is composed of three sections, the south section possessing the highest roof, and a lower pad at the north end, currently used as a dairy. The house is two storeys high. Windows are 19th-century and modern casements. A late 19th-century glazed and panelled door is situated in front of a brick chimney stack, which is positioned off-centre on the north side of the south section. The interior of the south section features a ceiling beam with an ovolo moulding, while the centre section has a chamfered ceiling beam.
