Description
Brook Farmhouse and an adjoining barn to the east date to the 17th century. The farmhouse itself is timber-framed and was largely refaced in the 19th or 20th century with painted brick. It has a pantile roof with gabled ends, and two storeys, featuring modern casement windows with glazing bars. A later addition to the west dates from the 19th or 20th century. The barn to the east, also from the 17th century, is timber-framed and clad in corrugated iron, with a steep gable-ended roof of black glazed pantiles. Inside the farmhouse, the original timber framing is exposed, including chamfered beams.
