Description
Limetree Farmhouse is probably from the early 18th century and is constructed of plastered clay lump. It features a pantile roof with gable ends and stands two storeys high. The façade has two widely spaced windows, which are three-light casements with later drip moulds, and a central early 19th-century pilastered doorcase with a panelled door. Adjoining to the south at a right angle is an 18th or 19th-century wing made of painted brick, which has brick dentil eaves and a pantile hipped roof. This wing is also two storeys tall and has two windows facing south, both of which are casements, along with a pilastered doorcase. The building is topped with brick chimney stacks.
