Description

This is a 17th-century timber-framed house that is faced in brick and plaster. It features a steep tiled roof, hipped at one end and with a brick-faced stepped gable at the other. The building has two storeys and three bays, with modern casement windows. A central two-storey gabled porch includes a round-headed doorway. At the rear, there is a large brick chimney stack. To the left (southeast), there is a projecting wing built in late 19th-century brick, which contains shop premises. The interior is reported to have exposed timber-framing.
