Three Gates Farmhouse is a building that likely dates from the 17th century. It has a plastered exterior and features a steep gable-ended roof covered with pantiles. The farmhouse has a gabled wing on the north-west side, creating an L-shaped plan. It is one storey high with an attic and includes casement windows that have glazing bars. There is a later addition of a central gabled porch, along with two flat roof dormers. The building is also noted for its central and end chimney stacks.
