Description

The Lodge is a 17th century timber-frame house that has been encased in buff-coloured brick during the 19th or 20th century. It features a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends and an off-centre brick chimney stack that has a rebuilt top with lozenge-shaped shafts. The building has two storeys and a range of four windows, which are modern casements with glazing bars. There is a 19th century gabled porch located in front of the chimney stack. Inside, the house has stopped chamfered ceiling beams and joists.
