Description
Upper Green Farmhouse is a timber-framed house dating from the 16th or 17th century that has been extensively restored. The exterior is rendered, and it features a steep pantile roof with gabled ends. An off-centre brick chimney stack is present. The building has two storeys and an attic, with three modern gabled dormers and modern casement windows that include glazing bars. An original mullion window is exposed under the eaves, with a glass panel above it. The cross wing at the southeast end creates an L-shaped plan and is also rendered timber-frame with a steep pantile roof and gabled ends. This section has a similarly off-centre brick chimney stack, two storeys and an attic, two modern gabled dormers, and matching modern windows.
