Description
The Thatched Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century, constructed of flint with brick dressings and topped with a thatched roof. It has two storeys and features a gabled porch made of corrugated iron located to the left of the centre. The cottage has one casement window to the left, three to the right, and four on the first floor. The windows are of varying sizes, all from the 20th century, and are set in openings that have been reduced in size with brick. The roof is gabled, with gable heads on kneelers and tumbling. Internal gable end stacks are present. To the east, there is a two-storey extension made of 20th-century brick and pantiles, which is of no special interest.
