Description

The Rampant Horse Inn is a 17th to 18th century building made of stuccoed brick. It features a steep pantile roof with gabled ends and has two storeys plus an attic. On the first floor, there are three widely spaced sash windows, two of which have glazing bars, and to the right, there is a small modern horizontal-pivot window. The ground floor has mid-19th century splayed bay windows with sash windows that do not have glazing bars, topped by an ornate cast iron balustrade. There are two doorways; one is adorned with pilasters and an entablature, while the other is plain. The building also includes two flat-headed dormers.
