Description
The ruins of a medieval chapel are located in the northwest corner of the churchyard of the Church of St Nicholas. The structure is built of flint and is roofless, measuring approximately 3.5 meters wide by 4.25 meters long. The remaining walls are now undressed, and there is a niche for a piscina on the southern side. Excavations at the site have uncovered remains of an altar, floor tiles, and fragments of 15th-century glass. These findings were documented by C.L.S. Linnell in the Norfolk Archaeological Journal XXVII in 1938.
