Description
This is an early 18th or 17th century building, constructed of flint and brick. It has a steep-pitched pantile roof with two gabled dormers. The building is two storeys high with attics. It was formerly an inn, as indicated by a band at first floor level. The front elevation has five flush-frame sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor. Other details include a moulded brick eaves cornice, a plinth, and flank pilasters. A two-storey, single-window wing is located to the left. The interior has been considerably modernised. The building is illustrated in "Wells-next-the-Sea" by A W Purchas.
