Description

Eastgate House, built around 1840, is constructed of buff brick and features a slate roof with coped gable ends. The building has a parapet and a moulded cornice, along with pilasters. It has three widely spaced window bays, with the center bay projecting slightly. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and there is a central modern glazed door. At the rear, there are two wings; one is made of buff brick and the other is constructed from flint with brick dressings.
