Description

Nos 38 to 44 on High Street are a terrace of early 19th-century cottages. They are constructed of flint with brick dressings and feature a pantile roof with gabled ends. The buildings have brick dentil eaves and stand two storeys tall with six bays. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, although the ground floor of No 40 has a modern casement with glazing bars, and No 42 has a modern bow window with glazing bars. The doorways are segmental-headed, and all but No 44 have modern porches. These cottages are located behind the buildings on the street frontage.
