Description

The K6 telephone kiosk located outside Hertford Library to the right of the entrance is a Grade II listed structure. This kiosk, designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, is part of the 'Jubilee' pattern. It is made of cast iron and features a timber door, presenting a square shape with a low domed roof. The sides and doors are adorned with margin glazing, and there are telephone 'opals' positioned above the door and on the sides, complemented by unperforated crown motifs above.
