Description

Elm Cottage is a 17th to 18th century cottage that features a timber frame. The front and rear elevations are refaced in plaster, while the side elevation is weatherboarded. The cottage is one storey high with attics. It has four modern casement windows and a doorcase that is topped with a thatched penticed weather porch. There is one gabled dormer and a central brick chimney stack. The roof is hipped and thatched, sloping down to an outshut at the rear.
