Description
The stable at The Old Rectory, located 15 meters to the west of the house, dates from the 18th century. It features a timber frame resting on a stuccoed sill, with dark weatherboarding and a steeply pitched roof made of black corrugated iron. There is a small gabled extension on the east side. This single-storey building has a loft and consists of three sections, facing east. The stable door in the middle leads to a two-stall stable, with a boarded and floored tack room in one bay and a coach house accessed through double doors in the north gable, which has a white pigeon loft above it. The hay loft extends through the roof space. Inside, the stable has a pitched pebble floor and old wooden stalls with a wooden corner manger.
