Description
The fountain in Monks' Garden at Ashridge Management College is a Grade II listed structure designed by Jeffry Wyatt and cast by Mr. Parker of Argyle Street, London in 1820. It serves as the centerpiece of the Holy Well in Humphry Repton's Monks' Garden, which was designed in 1813 and executed under the supervision of the Countess of Bridgewater. The fountain is made of painted cast iron and features a tall crested and buttressed Gothic conduit head, reportedly made up of 200 separate castings.
