Description

The Old Post House is a house dating to the 17th century or earlier. It is two storeys high with a red plain tiled roof. The building has a timber frame, with some parts plastered and others weatherboarded. The front has a three-window range of small-paned casement windows and sliding sash windows, alongside a 19th-century shop window. The entrance is marked by a four-panel door with two glazed lights, moulded pilasters, and a frieze topped with a pediment supported by brackets. The property features two red brick chimney stacks.
