Description

Yardley Farmhouse is an early 16th-century house, built on the remains of an earlier structure. It is timber-framed and plastered, with a red plain tile roof. The house is two stories high and has an L-shaped plan. The front has a three-window range of 19th-century double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. A flat door canopy is supported by shaped brackets. Inside, significant portions of the original timber frame remain, including a heavily moulded mantel beam.
