Description

Thorps is a house dating from the 17th century, with later additions and alterations. It incorporates a barn on the right side, and both structures are one storey with an attic. The left side features three gabled dormers, while the right side has three eyebrow dormers. The building is timber framed and plastered, with some 20th-century pargetting. The roofs are thatched, with a hip on the right side. The house primarily has a four-window range, with the right side featuring plain red tile-covered bays that contain square leaded casements. There are three red brick chimney stacks.
