Description

Mill House Barn, located 20 metres northeast of the house, is a barn dating from the late 17th century, with a 19th-century extension on the left side. The barn features a central range that includes an integral midstrey and is constructed with a Queen strut roof. The lower outshot ranges on the right and left are covered with plain red tiles, while the roofs are made of pantiles. The structure is timber framed, with parts that are plastered and others that are weatherboarded. Notable architectural details include arched braces to the tie beams, a halved and bladed scarf joint at the top plate, and through bracing to the walls.
