Description

Whitegates is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered building located on an L-shaped plan, with wings extending to the north and west. The inner side of the north wing was built out in the early 19th century and features a lean-to roof. The west wing includes a central small gable. The building stands two storeys high and has casement windows. The north wing features two early 19th century former shop bay windows with glazing bars. The roof is tiled.
